Academic Website
Knight Science Journalism (KSJ) is a fellowship program at MIT that focuses on the intersection of science, culture, and technology. After thirty years at MIT, KSJ needed a new look to their website and branding to attract applicants from around the globe. With the launch of a new science magazine, the fellowship wanted a cohesive look and feel as well as an easy CMS from which to control their site’s content. The SI team listened to the client’s business goals, moved them over to WordPress, imported almost a decade’s worth of content from their widely referenced blog, and exceed SEO goals.

Re-branding in the Digital-first Century
Re-branding is one of our favorite things to do at SI. Creating even just a new logo brings such a new wind into a company, which is exactly what happened for KSJ. Starting with a logo informed not only the site design, but also the tone of the copy and vibe of the content. For this project we partnered with the awesome design team at Fresh to come up with a logo that KSJ could be proud of for years to come.
